Placing a chest of drawers in your tyke's room can be both functional and decorative. There are things to consider, though, when choosing a storage chest or tall chest for your child's bedroom. As with any other furniture, it's important to select furniture that's not at all toxic (meaning it does not have lead paint or toxic finish) and has curved rather than sharp edges & rough surfaces. Some parents get so carried away seeing a cute character or design and overlook the safety factor.
